Andrew was born in Alameda, lived in Indonesia during part of his childhood, graduated from UC San Diego, and currently lives in Northern California. He has been brewing for a decade and a half and started with Heretic Brewing Company in 2013. He became Head Brewer in 2017 and Director of Brewing Operations in 2019 and COO in 2023. He spends his days focusing on making great beer and cocktails consistently and getting beer out into the market that excites people.
